Isaiah 55:1-13

"2 Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which does not satisfy? LISTEN diligently to me, and eat what is good, and delight yourselves in rich food."

Pretty much, he's saying why are you spending all this money that you DON'T have in order to keep your social status? If you simply listen to God, his BIBLE will fulfill you, and he will then bless you. But as long as you keep spending money you don't have, God won't be afraid to keep taking things away from you. Until you have nothing but God.

Ecclesiastes 5:10
"He who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves wealth with his income; this also is vanity."

I love this verse because God is laughing at the man that have all sorts of money, and does nothing good with it. I feel like if you could make a music video it would be the new Black Eyed Peas - " I Gotta Feeling." All those people are so drunk off their money, they think they are happy and content but they aren't even conscious in their decision making. I feel like for the last 5 years of my life I was so drunk off my own thoughts and so content with my poor money management; but I would never be fully satisfied. Not until I came to the realization that Jesus was the real deal. No matter what my obsession was prior or all the bad decisions I had made, He wiped them all away!!! When I pray, I pray for peace of mind and guidance on how to respond in the most mature way in order to correct all the mess ups I previously created.

Matthew 6:24
"No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money."

I feel like that one explained itself! :)

Acts 8:20
"But Peter said to him, "May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money!"

God doesn't have a price tag, how sweet is that! I could have no money at all and he would still be there! I love that God wants to be apart of my life and I feel blessed by his Grace daily. I feel that God wants us to have full access to him whenever, so we have no excuse that we can't afford him.

1Timothy 6:10
"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs."

Don't obsess over your money. Don't get caught getting more excited about the things that your money will bring... Instead think how will my money and my decisions bring GLORY to GOD. I feel like if you find yourself wandering away from your faith, stumbling because of a money hunger, hint hint... Your just hurting yourself. God Teaches you money wisdom. LISTEN!

Hebrews 13:5-6
"Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." So we can confidently say, "The LORD is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?"

BE CONTENT WITH WHAT YOU HAVE!!! THE HOLY SPIRIT IS WHAT WE HAVE!!!
